So traditionally I like the aisle seat on the plane, but of late I’ve started picking the Windows seat. Especially when flying into and out of DCA (Washington Reagan National Airport). I wrote a blog post a few months back about why I feel DCA is one of the best airports in the country. I neglected to mention that another great aspect of the airport are the take-off and approaches to the airport. Now that the FAA has loosened use of electronic on take-off and landing, you can take some amazing photos of our National’s Capital. Here are some the shots I’ve been able to take.
(The Capitol)
(The Tidal Basin)
(The Washington Monument)
(The Ellipse and the Washington Monument)
(Lincoln Memorial)
(The State Dept.)
(The Watergate and The Kennedy Center)
(Fedex Field I think?)
(The Wilson Bridge)
(The Washington Masonic Temple)
(Parts of Old Town Alexandria Waterfront)
(Some Sail Boats)
