For today’s post we rely on our guest blogger Terri the T-rex:
So I find myself in Hong Kong. Definitely one of the best cities in Asia.
I was hoping to meet up with my friend Godzilla, but he had to cancel at the last minute as work was keeping him in Tokyo. So I decided to walk the city alone. There are some advantages to travelling solo. Its much easier to terrorize a city with having some else in tow. It also allows you wake up when you like , eat when you are hungry.
I was staying on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong, which may actually have the best views of the city as you look on the skyline of the slender buildings in the central section of the city. I decided to stroll along the promenade and soon came upon the Hong Kong Art Museum.
There were a number of nice outdoor sculptures and I joined the many tourist strolling around and enjoying the magnificent views. The weather was fairly nice although Humid as Hong Kong usually is most of the year. Temperature were in the 70’s on this early march day, and it was a fairly overcast day similar to weather I experienced in Shanghai the day before.
Look out for my next blog post where I’ll report on a famous British Tradition in this very Asian city.
